Two days ago I got a reading of 80 with a readiness of 4. I decided to do some reasonably hard training anyway. Yesterday I got a reading of 71 with a readiness of 2 and took the entire day off. This morning my HRV reading was 71.5 with a readiness of 1. I didn't believe these consistently low scores so I decided to test my HRV with a different app (iThlete) a few minutes after my test on BioForce this morning. I got a reading of 82 (close to my baseline). I didn't do anything in between the two readings except download the other app. It seems they both use the same method for finding HRV as well. Any suggestions as to why there was such a significant difference? Is my BioForce app playing up?
